So here are a few ways you can build trust on the daily with your audience:

1. Show Your Face & Personality
Regularly show up on video (Reels, Stories, Lives) to make your audience feel like they know you. The intro clip in your ModLink is also a fantastic way to greet people who visit your link-in-bio with your friendly energy and vibe. Humanize your brand by giving people to your behind-the-scenes looks and casual check-ins or Q & As.

2. Be Consistent (Not Just in Posting, But in Messaging)
If your audience never knows what to expect, they won’t stick around. So keep to a regular consistent posting cadence (hello, 3-post plan), tone and set of values. And make sure you value each DM interaction with your interested followers. They will remember how you make them feel, and that creates referral recommendations!

3. Share More Than Just Highlights
People trust you more when they see the full picture—wins and struggles. When I gave a training and shared that I had a period of time in my early days of entrepreneurship where I only had $5/day to spend, people immediately let their guard down and knew I was a person they could relate to and learn from. I wasn’t coming from a place of privilege without making my way through the hard times to get there.

4. Use Social Proof (Let Others Build Trust for You!)
Customer testimonials, before-and-after stories, and user-generated content help prove your credibility. In fact, case studies and customer success stories are the #1 way to convert your followers, so collect every win you can from your customers! An easy way to do that on social media, is to use the phrase, “Don’t take my word for it—here’s what [customer/client] had to say about [your product/service]!”

5. Engage & Listen
Trust isn’t just about what you post—it’s about how you interact. While, technology like Many Chat and Link DM can automate responses, I still believe if you are small enough to personally respond comments, DMs, and inquiries, it shows you are a real human behind your brand and it shows you care.
Building trust on social media isn’t an overnight thing—it’s a long game. But when you focus on authenticity, consistency, and real engagement, trust becomes your most powerful marketing asset.
